UNIVERSAL HYDRAWRAP KIT
The Universal HydraWrap® Kit is intended to provide the necessary materials to repair a variety of pipe sizes, fittings and configurations in an emergency or rapid response application. The Universal Kit provides various widths of carbon fiber fabrics along with the tools and consumables utilized in the application. Please reference the pressure rating data of standard kits for determining the number of carbon fiber layers or contact HydraTech Engineered Products, LLC for assistance on specific applications in which coverage or pressure rating is in question.

Application Kits Include: 2” Brushes, Flexible Spreaders, Stir Sticks, Nitrile Gloves, Mixing Blade,
Scissors, Epoxy Stick and Plastic Sheeting.
COVERAGE:
- 1 quart of mixed primer will cover approximately 7.5 square feet @ 32 mils based on a 2-3 mil profile. Coverage on heavily irregular or pitted surfaces will be less.
- 1 quart of mixed wet-out will saturate 35 square feet of 2” and 6” wide carbon fiber = 70
yards of 2” wide fabric*; 23 yards of 6” wide fabric*. - 1 quart of wet-out will saturate 18 square feet of 12” wide carbon fiber fabric; 6 yards.
*Please note that the working time of the wet-out may require additional kits to be used beyond the theoretical coverage listed above
THEORETICAL APPLICATIONS:
The 13 yards of 2” wide carbon fiber fabric will cover:
- Spiral wrapping 5 feet of 2” piping @ 2 layers of fabric
- Spiral wrapping 2.5 feet of 4” piping @ 2 layers of fabric
- Spiral wrapping (1) 4” long radius elbow @ 4 layers of fabric
The 15 yards of 6” wide carbon fiber fabric will cover:
- Spiral wrapping 6 feet of 6” piping @ 2 layers of fabric
- Spiral wrapping (1) 8” long radius elbow @ 4 layers of fabric
The 5 yards of 12” wide carbon fiber fabric will cover:
- Weld wrap of 24” diameter piping @ 2 layers of fabric
- (2) Weld wraps of 12” diameter piping @ 2 layers of fabric
- Spiral wrapping 3 feet of 8” piping @ 2 layers of fabric
