HydraWrap™ for Industrial/Marine Pipeline Repair (quick reference)
HydraWrap™ provides a corrosion barrier for degrading piping (thin wall & through wall). Installed with common tools in less than 30 minutes, HydraWrap™ prevents unplanned shutdowns.
The HydraWrap™ Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) system is a performance driven product that provides a nonmetallic chemical and corrosion resistant structural repair. The HydraWrap™ composite system is a combination of high performance epoxies and custom made carbon fiber fabric. This combination produces a noncorrosive structural repair that is easily installed and conforms to various shapes and sizes. HydraWrap™ kits are designed with a minimum of two layers of fabric with additional reinforcement being achieved through additional layers. HydraTech’s engineers provide the HydraWrap™ specifications required for each installation to ensure that every repair is designed to meet or exceed the client’s specifications.
HydraWrap™ offers a proven technology that is designed, engineered and extensively tested to ensure reliable, predictable performance.
HydraWrap™ is the first FRP repair system that is ABS Design Approved and is compliant and designed to several standards and regulations including DOT, ASME, ISO and NSF/ANSI 61.
The HydraWrap™ product line consists of multiple systems for use in raw water, acid resistant, high temperature and drinking water applications. The HydraWrap system is designed using carbon fiber, aramids or fiberglass depending on the application.
